bathsalts
Mix 2 drops of silk road essential oil with 2 drops of silk road unscented carrier oil, and add to every 5 tbsp. of silk road bathsalts. Continue mixing until clumps dissolve.
bath, body & massage oils
Blends should be between 1% and 3% silk road essential oil in a base of silk road unscented carrier oil.
shampoo & conditioner 
Blends should be between 1% and 3% silk road essential oil in a base of silk road unscented shampoo or conditioner. For oily hair, try tea tree, niaouli, rosemary, bergamot, lemon or cedarwood. For dry or damaged hair, try benzoin, ylang ylang, myrrh, frankincense, clary sage or chamomile.
The table below lists how many drops of 100% pure essential oil should be added to either silk road unscented carrier oil, unscented shampoo or unscented conditioner. For example, to make a 1% blend of shampoo in a 60ml bottle, add 12 drops of essential oil. For your reference, there are approximately 20 drops in 1ml.

perfumes
Perfume blends can be between 10% and 30% silk road essential oil in a base of silk road unscented carrier oil. For example, to make a 10% blend of perfume in a 10ml bottle, add 20 drops of essential oil.

Essential oils are extremely active and work in parts per billion, so you do not need to use a lot to enjoy their effects. Never apply essential oils to skin directly. Always dilute in a proper carrier (i.e. oil, salt, shampoo or conditioner). Never add essential oils directly to the bath without first diluting, as essential oils do not dissolve in water.
for general use
Massage or bath blends should contain 1% to 3% essential oils and the rest should be a carrier (i.e. oil, bathsalt, shampoo, conditioner).
for pregnant women
As a general rule, essential oils should not be used topically; however, they can be enjoyed via diffusion. Scent rooms by adding a few drops of essential oil to an oil warmer of plug-in diffuser. silk road unscented carrier oil is the best choice for preventing stretch marks. Some essential oils can be used during labour, but always consult your medical doctor first.
for elderly & anyone with health conditions
Dilutions should be no more than 1%. Always make sure that the oils that you are using are not contraindicated by a pre-existing medical condition (i.e. high blood pressure, asthma, heart problems, epilepsy, cancer).
for children
Dilutions should be no more than 1%. Avoid stimulating oils. Citrus and peppermint oils are best for kids.
