This reproduction of a vintage British teapot design is the ultimate in retro-chic! The teapot is made of two parts - a stainless steel cosy (which also acts as a lid), underneath which lies a crisp white porcelain teapot. The stainless steel tea cosy is lined with fabric, and keeps tea hot for a very long time. The soho hotel teapot also has a built-in strainer, and has a well designed spout, which pours beautifully. European design, manufactured in China. Please note that the teapot and built-in strainer are dishwasher safe. However, the stainless steel cosy is not dishwasher safe - it can be wiped clean on the exterior with a cloth.

middle kingdom
This collection celebrates the traditions of Chinese porcelain while also creating stunningly beautiful new objects, which are subtle, timeless, refined and elegant. Each piece is made exclusively in Jingdezhen, China, where the imperial kilns were once located. Pieces are produced by master potters, working in collaboration with designer and artist Bo Jia.
Middle Kingdom follows the Chinese imperial porcelain traditions. Exquisite hand painted designs adorn many of the pieces. The high quality of the porcelain is evident. It is delicate, ethereal and translucent - hold an object up to a lamp, and observe how it starts to glow from the light. At each stage in the creation of these pieces, great attention is paid to high aesthetic standards. Since each piece is handmade, it is beautifully unique. Although these are new pieces, they are imbued with the luster of antiques.
The handwritten Chinese inscription on the bottom of each piece reads: MiddleKingdom, Bo Jia Clan.
Do not place in dishwasher - hand wash only. Do not place in microwave, on stove or in oven.
