We blend premium organic loose teas, using only 100% natural flavourings because of their superior taste and earth-friendly methods of extraction. Our aromatherapy products are made fresh with expertly blended essential oils and plant based, biodegradable ingredients. They are cruelty-free and do not contain petrochemicals, dyes, artificial fragrances or preservatives. We are uncompromising in these principles and do not manufacture products unless they meet these rigorous standards.
fresh > Importing tea directly from growers results in a continuous supply of fresh tea that has more nutrients and better flavour. We purchase our essential oils and other skincare and bodycare ingredients from smaller growers, which means that our products are fresh and of a superior quality.
organic > Organic practices avoid the use of manufactured pesticides, herbicides and mineral or synthetic fertilizers. Our teas are either third party certified organic according to EU standards or certified organic by smaller groups or associations. silk road essential oils conform to EU (European Union) standards, which are considered the benchmark of quality.
premium quality > We are very selective about where we get our teas from and closely examine quality, flavour, organics, environmental impact and how well each tea estate treats its workers. Our essential oils have been distilled or pressed using traditional methods. Once extracted, the essential oils are left in their natural state. They are not refined, bleached, deterpenated or adulterated in any way. Hand bottling further ensures that we are not interfering with the delicate nature of the oils.
100% natural flavourings > We use only 100% natural flavourings in our teas because of their superior taste. Natural flavours are good for the environment, too! Since they are derived from plants, natural flavours are a renewable resource, whereas artificial flavours are made up of synthetic components derived from non-renewable resources.
